I purchased this sideboard recently and, overall, I am very pleased with its design and appearance. The style is exactly what attracted me to it and it looks great in the room.
However, I was disappointed to discover a series of small, uniform indentations near the handles that resemble screw pilot holes. I reported these to the supplier on arrival and was advised that they are part of the manufacturing process. The supplier also provided photographs of a showroom model showing similar marks.
My concern is that these details were not visible in the website photographs that informed my purchasing decision. Having since examined the online images closely, including at high magnification, I cannot see the same marks represented there. As the clean finish of the cabinet fronts was a significant part of the item’s appeal, I feel this aspect could have been shown more clearly in the product imagery.
That said, the overall quality, design and aesthetic of the sideboard are excellent, which is why I have chosen to keep it. I simply think prospective buyers would benefit from a more accurate representation of these manufacturing features before purchase.
