We ordered 3 matching items in the range but the high back sadly had a faulty bowed door. We didn’t know this was the case until after the delivery team had left as we unpack in our own time. We were advised to adjust the magnetic closure but it was the door which was bowed. A replacement was arranged fairly swiftly but we couldn’t do a straight swap. Then started the farce of having to use the original packaging to repack the faulty item (flimsy cardboard and we didn’t keep the original as didn’t know it had to be returned) move it ourselves (it’s very heavy) and store it until a suitable collection date. This was time consuming, required physical strength and effort not to mention inconvenient . I don’t know what I’d have done by myself as couldn’t have packed or moved it single handedly.
Customer services said it’s our responsibility despite delivering a faulty item in the first place.
Next time deliver and collect in case of a fault in one go.
